Phoebe Dowdle is a 2011 graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. With a degree in Illustration, Phoebe’s been fortunate to be able to combine her artistry in book cover design with her passion for Titanica AND her default fashion statement – the lowly T-shirt.
So far, ALL of the Titanic illustrations within this website spring from the talented fingertips and mind of this one person.
She’s also served as conceptual artist, coordinator, web design consultant, and assistant project manager throughout the entire creation and development of “It’s A Wonderful T-Shirt”. “Titanic T-Shirts” is an off-shoot of the main site, which features ALL of the Titanic artwork as well as the “George Bailey Was Never Born” t-shirt genre and miscellaneous as-of-yet uncategorizable t-shirts.
Phoebe’s primary interpretation is via pencil, but she has extensive experience with various other drawing media. Custom design is her forte and some of her expressions can been seen at www.theillustratedphoebe.com
